Terminolgy Explained in 'Terms and Conditions' page

1 Delivery

1.1 Dispatch of goods within 3 working days is normally achieved provided the order has been received by Farango during Working Days. This provision does not apply to Goods requiring special modification and orders which are too large to be despatched by Farango contracted carrier. Delivery will normally only be made to the Customer's registered address unless notified to Farango in writing beforehand.

2 First Class Post

Orders under 1kg will be despatched where reasonably practicable by first class post on the same working day as the order is received by Farango. During busy periods allow up to 7 working days for your order to arrive.

3 Courier Delivery

All items over 1kg will be despatched where reasonably practicable within 3 working days of receiving order allow up to 7 working days for delivery

4 Next Working Day Delivery

Providing your order is placed before 11:30am Monday to Friday you will be given the option to use the next working day facility for delivery. Deliveries made using this service will usually be made at any time up to 5pm. Orders placed after the 11:30am cut off time will be processed the next following working day.

PLEASE NOTE: Customers in Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and the Channels Islands are not elibible for Next day delivery

5 Export

4.1 Carriage will be charged on orders involving Export at the appropriate rate prevailing at the date of despatch. Prior to

the conclusion of the contract Farango will inform the customer the total amount to be debited.

4.2 The Customer is responsible at their own expense to obtain any import or export license or any other documentation

deemed necessary by any compliant authority.

6 Transit Delays and Non­Delivery

5.1 The Customer must inspect the Goods as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery or upon purchase from a store and shall within 14 days of such delivery or receipt give notice to the Customer Service Department of Farango of any apparent physical or delivery damage in the Goods.

5.2 Queries regarding shortages of Goods must be made within 14 days of delivery date and must be accompanied by the

despatch note. Queries regarding Goods invoiced but not delivered must be made to the Customer Service Department of Farango within 14 days of invoice date and the invoice number must be quoted.

5.3 Farango shall not be liable to compensate the Trade Customer by way of damages or otherwise for nondelivery or late delivery of the Goods or any of them or for any loss consequential or otherwise arising from non-delivery or late delivery.

5.4 Conditions 5.1 to 5.3 inclusive do not affect the statutory rights of a consumer under the Distance Selling Regulations

7 Order Cancellations

6.1 In the event of cancellation of part of an order by the Trade Customer Farango reserves the right to invoice for any

difference in selling price applicable to the quantity despatched up to the time of cancellation plus a restocking charge.

8 Warranty and Returns

7.1 Unwanted goods - For unwanted goods Farango offers a 14-day return policy. 14 Day Return Policy

Our returns policy has been created to make the returning of unwanted or faulty goods easy and straight-forward for both you the customer, and for us.

To initiate a return the customer should click here and fill in the returns request form, making sure that all the relevant information is given

Returns must be clearly marked with the following:

  • Full name and address
  • RMA# (if obtained)
  • Your order number or user ID

This will ensure that we are able to identify who the goods are from, and enable us to process the return more efficiently. We will not be able to process any goods returned to us without this identifying information.

What we expect from you, and what you can expect from us:

  • Goods returned for replacement or refund with an RMA# will take approximately 7 business days to be processed, whereas goods returned without RMA # will take up to 30 days to process.
  • All replacement and refund issues are resolved in accordance with our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
  • You are obliged by law to take reasonable care of the goods whilst they are in your possession. We will not consider that you have taken reasonable care of the goods if they have been used in a way or to an extent beyond what would be reasonable when examining the goods in a shop before purchase. If you return your goods you should also return the original packaging, together with all manuals, warranty cards and all accessories and documentation provided by the manufacturer.
  • Where you return goods to us, you may wish to consider insuring the goods that you are returning. We also suggest the use of a carrier that can provide a ‘proof of delivery'.

For all goods returned back to us, the shipping is always paid for by the Customer.

  • The internal documentation should include proof of purchase, the returned product must be complete, and in ‘as new' condition with original packaging. Certain product categories by their nature are exempt from the 7-day return policy; these would include for example software, cut cable, built kits, disco equipment and consumables. Farango will not accept the return under the 7-day return policy of any Goods that have had a manufacturers or suppliers warranty or registration invoked. Farango will deem such registration by the Customer as acceptance of the Goods.

Farango must receive all returns within 7 days of the Returns Number being issued and any Goods received after that period will be dealt with on an individual basis. The Customer must take all reasonable care to ensure that all returned items be suitably packaged, and that the Goods are protected when being returned. The Customer must provide to Farango proof of despatch to Farango. In the event of Goods being returned without a previously allocated Return Number the processing of any claim by the Customer is likely to be delayed. Customers whose transactions are covered by the Distance Selling Regulations the 7-day returns policy will commence after the 7-day cooling off period.

7.2 Where unwanted Goods are returned to Farango after the expiry of the 7-day return period but within a reasonable

period of time Farango reserves the right to levy a handling charge. A charge of 20% of the invoice value of the Goods returned, with a minimum charge of £10 will be levied on Goods which are not defective. The Customer must bear all the costs of returning any unwanted Goods to Farango and provide proof of delivery.

7.3 Faulty goods under Warranty - Any defects in the Goods which under proper use appear within a reasonable period

after delivery and which are due to faulty materials, workmanship or design will be made good by Farango either by repair or, at the sole discretion of Farango , by replacement or refund. Any claim for Goods or the defective parts should be returned together with proof of purchase and (if relevant), all complete accessories, instruction manuals and software and, wherever possible, in the

original packaging. Any claim for defective Goods or parts must be made in writing (specifying the date of purchase and invoice number) within a reasonable period of time after delivery.

7.4 All warranties and conditions which are capable of being excluded by statute or otherwise are excluded from any contract provided that nothing in the contract shall affect the statutory rights of the Consumer or liability for death or personal injury caused by the negligence of Farango.

7.5 Warranty seals applied to any Goods supplied by Farango or our suppliers, must not be removed or broken and any product without the warranty seals intact will be deemed to have had any warranty invalidated and the Goods will be deemed to have been accepted by the Customer.

7.7 The warranty period as stated in 16.3 is from the date of purchase If goods are replaced within this warranty period, the warranty will continue from the original date of purchase unless specifically agreed otherwise by Farango in writing.

7.8 Conditions 7.1 to 7.7 inclusive do not affect the statutory rights of a Consumer under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 or any statutory modification thereof.

7.9 ‘B Grade Products' The B Grade Products are all clearance items; there are various product conditions for example:- New, boxed and end of line
